My family and I have been to Animal Adventure Park multiple times since 2017, the park has grown tremendously since then, it just keeps getting better and better with every visit. When I describe it to others that haven't been there yet, I always say "it's not like a typical zoo", meaning, I don't feel bad for the animals at all when we leave. All of their enclosures are absolutely beautiful and spacious, the entire place is immaculate, and the entire staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. We especially love the interaction we're able to have with so many of the animals. AAP quickly and easily became one of our most favorite places to visit. It's very evident that the animals well-being is of utmost importance to the owner and his staff. We look forward to every visit and each one continues to exceed our expectations.
In one word.. Exceptional! Clean and tidy, with happy animals and keepers. All staff are friendly and helpful clearly enjoying their work. This is a family run business with the right attitudes and active participation in responsible, national animal breading programs. Whilst AAP is not the biggest zoo there is enough for a fun family day out. It's difficult to put your finger on it but this place is special, get the genuine impression the owner is following their passion in life and it shows! Highly recommended.
What a nice establishment! Reasonably priced. We took our 9 month old son here today and he had a wonderful time (2 hour drive) There was no line or wait. They sell feeding pellets and/or lettuce and carrots. All of the animals are very gentle and well tempered. The enclosures are clean and well manicured. The animal enclosures are also generously sized and animals all appear to be well cared for. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are multiple restrooms throughout the park and rest areas with pavilions for shade. There is a nice little air conditioned shed called the cub station that has a bench and changing table. The park seems to be handicap accessible and there are benches everywhere to sit. The gift shop is great and has alot to choose from. We definitely recommend!
Great place for a day trip. The zoo was beyond clean and the animals were definitely happy and well taken care of. All of the enclosures were spacious and well kept, I was pleased to note that there wasn’t even a zoo smell that you would find in other places. We loved that we got the opportunity to take a picture with the baby kangaroo for just $10 which was a steal. Already planning our next visit!🙂
Loved it. The wait in line was short when we arrived. We purchased the feeding buckets with lettuce, carrots and pellets to feed the animals. The whole atmosphere was totally relaxed. It was spacious and clean. The gift shop was amazing with plenty of affordable items to choose from I picked up my son a tee shirt, stuffed giraffe and rhinoceros. I recommended this place to anyone with children or animal lovers.
