Beautiful but not great for small kayaks many motored boats
Cute park with a playground, beach, bathhouse, and volleyball, tennis and basketball courts. Great spot to relax and take in the lake.
Its great there/redone back in 2013? 14...!!Peaceful... & waters crystal clear(Nov 1st¤)The autumn foliage, though past its peak- make for many water fowl and raptors to visit.I think i saw double crested cormorants there today! They visit from our neighbors to the North.>Grab a sub from Lighthouse point grocery!!! Sooooooo good!
We love this park, and gorgeous lake. The park offers a wonderful, wide view of the lake. It is dotted with large willow trees, and has easy access to shops and restaurants just down the road or across the street. We saw a few fishermen and boaters out on the water.
The southern side of the park has a great community area, with benches, tables, bbq area, and a variety of sports facilities. We were there on a good weather day, when the heavens were reflected in the flat, glassy waters of the lake, and we praised God for the wonderful sight of His creation.
It's one of the few places on Chautauqua Lake that has access for the general public. The museum is open on weekends in the old station, during the summertime the fishing dock is open, it's also a nice place to watch the Chautauqua Belle come and go on its trips during the summer.
