Chautauqua Fishing Charters

Highly recommended!!! My family had the absolute best time on Captain Jeff’s charter. He made it so fun and taught us so many things. We plan on booking a fishing trip with him at least once a year! If you have the chance book with him, you will be glad you did!

Captain Jeff was awesome. Great communication prior to the trip. On day of the trip he picked us up at our rental cabin at our dock (which was very helpful). Took us immediately to the fish, we were catching walleye no time. He also cleaned our fish. After trip was over he followed up with a text to see how we were doing rest of day and sent us food recommendations. Nice guy. Would recommend for sure.

We had a wonderful time on our family fishing trip! It was my son’s first time fishing and he began asking to go again before the boat was even docked! Captain Jeff is to thank for such a memorable first fishing experience. I highly recommend booking a charter - it was such fun!

I grew up spending my summers on the lake, both sailing and motor boating. My morning fishing session with Captain Zellers was definitely one of my best days ever on the lake. Captain is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful—It’s a full-service operation. He filleted the walleye for us to take home. Included in our catch for the day was a perch, three walleye, a gar, and a muskie. I’ve already reserved a date to go out again later in the month. Regardless of your level of expertise with fishing, going out with Chautauqua Fishing Charters is well worth it.

We had a great day out with Captain Jeff! Our kids had never caught a fish before, and Jeff knew just how to fix that -- each of them caught 20+ fish! He knew all the spots to go... some places the rods were like fish magnets. We didn't catch a 'big one', but we caught more than enough little guys to make up for it. The kids were able to identify at least 5 different fish species by the end of the day. The boat was comfortable and smooth. A wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.
