Patterson Library

Patterson Library is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever been in. The architecture, especially inside, is stunning. You are in store for a grand reception room on the first floor complete with grand piano, one of the best collections of avian taxidermy and always a local artist exhibiting in the downstairs gallery. Little Westfield has a gem in the Patterson. Oh yeah! Lots of books too! 😀

Staff was friendly and helpful. The library is beautiful and worth just walking around and looking at the exhibits and architecture.

A favorite library of mine, rich in history and the comforts that an old library should have. I've always encountered friendly and helpful librarians here. It appears more formal than casual upon first entrance but really it is casual and inviting to all ages. Book lovers, wi-fi users, and community events all gather here and are all within walking distance of local stores, restaurants and the park. It is an environment that provides many resources and social connections.

I love love love the Patterson Library ! I enjoy coming in and picking up books I have already ordered on the Internet and chatting with the workers! Its always a joy to come in and see every one and pick up my books ! The programs offered for free are wonderful too ! Thank you Patterson Library !

I absolutely LOVE this beautiful historic library! I can spend hours on end here! And the staff is beyond wonerful!
