I have a lot on my plate right now an have made several visits to Excelsior recently. I needed pt for my left shoulder, elbow and hand but am also scheduled for knee surgery on the 9th. The receptionist made sure she gave me an appointment right away so I could at least get started with pt. My therapist, Kim, is excellent. She really knows what she's doing and is extremely pleasant. There seems to be a terrific working environment...staff is generally upbeat and focused and help with each other's clients if needed.
Today, I had a dip in my sugar as I was concluding my work-out. Kim insisted I sit down and had some candy for me. Even though I looked and felt a little better, she was reluctant to let me drive home. She tracked down some juice from another staff member (TY Jake!) and she and another female staff member kept a close eye on me. I am very grateful for the care and consideration I receive there.
