A very beautiful park. The staff is friendly as well as the hosts. There is not for a lack of thing to do here, even swim in the bitter cold Lake Superior this time of year. I would suggest if you make reservations a day in advance for best spots, especially during season.
Lush trees and grass throughout the spacious camp sites. Everything is so green during the second week of September. The restroom/shower facilities could use some love, they are pretty outdated. We reserved our site online, paid the extra few dollars for a "waterfront" site, and when we arrived we found out that while yes our site was one of the closest to the water, there was a chain link fence between us and a rock cliff. You can skip the premium cost.
Came to the park for a family function not once but twice in the last 2 years. Both times it was adequately provided with spacious room as well as beautiful view beautiful view. There there are grills as well as picnic tables available when you reserve a site. Hi there recommend using this park for future endeavors as well as possible sailing or hiking.
Roomy, nicely distributed sites, well maintained grounds, not far to Lake Erie small craft launch. Several yurts available, basketball hoops, and posts for ?pickleball (no net or court lines). Good shower/restroom facilities, although stalls need to be cleaned.
Week kept campgrounds with some really nice more recently updated bathrooms. Parking is a bit limited for the tents only section but the walk from the second lot is not far at all.
Great spot for the kids as the space. Is open and everyone respected the quiet hours. New playground equipment and a 2 minute walk to the beach.
Tons of frogs, toads, turtles, and other little woodland creatures. Kids loved trying to catch tadpoles and frogs.
