Calvary Heights Baptist Church

Was looking for a new church to attend when I moved out of the city and back home and a trusted friend of mine pointed me to this temple. KJV Scripture based preaching (which is a REQUIREMENT to me) and the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. It is one big happy family, and the best church I have ever attended. A+++++++++++ :-)

Great atmosphere, friendly people, many different ministries for all age groups. The pastors are always prepared and are clearly dedicated to serving God. Kids classes offered every Sunday and Wednesday are top notch.

Absolutely love Calvary Heights! My husband and I started attending here three years ago and our lives have been forever changed. The Bible is preached so clearly and the people here are so kind and welcoming! We felt like family the first month we started attending here. I never thought I would be the person that goes to church three times a week, but the Lord truly has worked in our lives and I have found myself needing to go and loving to go every week.

What I cherish most about my church family is the prayers they have lifted for my family and I during the most difficult time in our lives. The Pastor shares God's Word. He is humble and points the congregation to the cross. I love the worship and old Hymns. The members are warm and welcoming. My boys are in the Awana program where they learn God's word in a fun atmosphere.

Wonderful local church in the Elma area. I have been to a few other churches in the surrounding towns and no place compares to the Biblical teaching, Christian fellowship, and old-fashioned spiritual hymns like Calvary Heights! The congregation is a mixed crowd of both young and elderly alike; all of whom are extremely friendly and welcoming.
