Delicious Sake that will rival and if not better than most Sakes you can get from Japan. The distillers here know what they are doing and the woman serving us was knowledgeable and very nice. Good times
They have limited edition sakes @ the taproom specials in S/M/L, all of which are distinct in their taste. Each one is 14%+ so go slowly by the glass. I had 2 and felt it instantly.
Pro tip : if you’re with a group. Get a bottle of their signature blue door for both quality and quantity. Sit outdoors and have a great time!
such a fun sake brewery! we stumbled upon this and we’re pleasantly surprised since we recognized the brewery from a collab they did with another sake brewery in bushwick. we stopped in for a glass and loved the vibe. their sake is delicious too! definitely recommend stopping in if you like sake
Wonderful afternoon at Brooklyn Kura! Recommend to do the tasting to experience some of the most unique sake’s out there. Shout out to Polly for making us feel so welcome :)
I've been wanting to come here since I missed the opportunity the first time I visited industry city and glad I came. I was able to get a Sake flight. The service was a little slow, we were waiting quite a bit before we could order. We tried to sit down at the bar but ended up moving to the table since we needed to show our vaccination cards before sitting at the bar. The flight came out fairly quickly and we were brought a jar of water which was nice.
The flight was 4 sakes of the top four Tap Room Exclusives-
Kimoto
Koji Sour
Occidental
Lake Suwa
The sake was good, my favorite was probably the Lake Suwa but all the sakes were pretty good. They sell bottles here and larger glasses is you would just like to try one. Cute ambiance and design of the place.
Also ordered a beer cocktail after ~ Orion Shiso Sandy
It was refreshing but kind of tasted like a really light mimosa. You can taste a little of the Orion beer.
