Only in Brooklyn! When your favorite Pakistani burger joint is closed, we stumbled into a Georgian Restaurant and had a magical evening. It was a quiet night and we were treated like family. Our whole conversation was about the food and the drinks, and how each culture really makes their mark! We (3) shared: meat creps (delicuous); a chicken cheese boat, soup dumplings and a Brie & Honey cheese boat. We were stuffed, satiated and stunned by the bread, ingredients and the sauces on the side! (I’m still thinking about the garlic sauce that came with the Chicken Cheeseboat, and the herb sauce for the dumplings!) It was a terrific night, amplified by Georgian red wine and a couple of Mr. Zelinskis that made us start craving ice cream at 10 pm. (They were sold out of Napolians) A magical night on Brooklyn that really showcased the cultural and culinary hidden gems that are right around the corner!
A bit on the saltier end so will prob ask for less if possible next time but otherwise super rich and tasty food! Bread is delicious, seems to be baked fresh with every order. It’s great for sopping up the delicious sauces. The salad was a great for balancing out the richness of the other dishes, highly recommend adding that to your order.
the food was so so delicious and our server was super nice and answered all of our questions !!
my mum had been wanting to come here for the longest times and it completely met her expectations. the homemade lemonade with mango was so so so good and the Pkhali Sampler was amazing.
This cute little Georgian restaurant is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Now let’s talk about this cheesy heaven - we got 2 regular cheese boats and I got the mushroom cheese boat with egg. If you’re obsessed with cheese like me then you have to eat here and I promise you won’t be disappointed. The bread was so soft and doughy and the cheese was delicious. The staff was so sweet and friendly and the service quick. The only negative was the that it was pricey $$. Overall such a good Sunday brunch experience and we ll be back soon for more 🥰
Pro tip - go on an empty stomach 😁
