Hipocampo Children's Books

This is an amazing place to find bilingual books (Spanish and English). The owner is very friendly and helpful. He’s got an good children book selection. My daughter loves going there and choose books.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere in this store! I wanted to find a beanbag chair and just hibernate here. It is mostly a children's bookstore but the young adult reading is right up my alley, complete with Black and Brown authors, and a whole section of books in Spanish. The artwork and atmosphere was right up my alley!

Bought a very new book called "The longest letsgoboy" and it's an amazing book. That aside, it's a small shop with an amazing vibe and a great logo. The owner is incredibly nice and really cares about the books he stocks, a great addition to South Ave and that's saying alot! Check it out even if you don't want a children's book.

This bookstore is a hidden gem. The owners are especially wonderful. There is an excellent selection of children's literature. Whether you are shopping for a gift, for yourself, or as a teacher looking to order books for your classroom, this establishment is incredible.

I was so excited to find this new book store on South Ave! It's such a beautiful store filled with a variety of children and young adult books celebrating many cultures written in both English and Spanish. I can't wait to bring my daughter to their Saturday morning story times and other classes they offer!
