Walter Elwood Museum

Actually we did not get to see inside, cause they mentioned that it will be open but they were closed. We drove all the way from Utica…maybe next time!

Visited this museum in October 2022. It was so incredible inside. Every room contains so much history. There’s a huge library inside as well to do research. I wish I had more time to explore!

This Museum is a hidden gem! With a diverse collection of local history that spans centuries, one could easily spend an afternoon exploring. I’ve gained a new appreciation for the rich and diverse history of this area.

Loved it! What a treat. The place takes you back in time. Most of the artifacts you can pretty much touch. Almost nothing is behind the glass. A history lesson that goes back to first settlers of this great country.
