As my pre-teen daughter is about to start school tomorrow, I feel overcome with gratitude for Alexandra Lemma at Nassau Psychology P.C. and wanted to share our experience with her.
We came to "Miss Alex" (as we call her) at a difficult time. My daughter was experiencing an extremely difficult time socially at school, coupled with entering her pre-teen/teen years we knew we had to seek help to arm her with the tools to thrive. Miss Alex was able to connect with our daughter in a way that made her feel safe and comfortable and began her on a journey to self love and confidence that I will be eternally grateful for. I honestly don't know where we would be without Miss Alex and her true gift to connect with and help people.

I have been working with Alexandra Lemma at the Cedarhurst location for over two and a half years. She is beyond an exceptional therapist—extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient, empathetic and always goes above and beyond to ensure the absolute highest quality of patient care. I have referred a number of close friends to Alex and across the board, working with her has been simply life changing. Her ability to connect with patients from individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues, to children, to couples is unparalleled. If everyone had a therapist like Alex in their life this is would certainly be a MUCH better world!

Scheduler was very helpful in finding a therapist at a location and time that works for me. It is awesome that they accept my plan and so many others in case my plan changes. They do require 24 hours notice if I need to cancel but I had a last minute emergency and they were very understanding and waived the fee. I love my therapist and I am able to reach her anytime via phone or email. I would highly recommend this practice.
