I love the food and the prices. We go for the lobster roll and I used to get the fried clams quite often. Now, I'm switching over to their grilled items, and I know they won't disappoint. The atmosphere reminds me of a bar/restaurant that you'd see on television. Needless to say, they get thumbs up!
This is one of the best places to just get your drink and it includes a great little view. The steamed lobster was amazing. This is a special so call first. The drinks are on the large side but that has never hurt me.
Great seafood dishes. Jeremy’s chips are perfect! Nice view of the inlet. This is a small place though, and I prob won’t dine in again until covid is less contagious. Most people were unmasked the whole time. I recommend the take out, which they do very well.
Jeremy's Ale House reminds me of the TV show Cheers.i have been at this establishment many times. They have a simple plan; make good comfort food, have cold variety of beers in different sizes, and keep it simple. The dont have waiters or waitresses. You order at the bar, they give you a self standing numbered identification. Once the food is ready, someone will bring it to you. When you are done, someone will clean the table...period. it is a simple formula that works.
What makes Jeremy's different from all the other places on Nautical Mile, is that one of the few places that's open all year round. In the summer, they have a large open deck with tables and chairs. Behind the place is a smaller more intimate deck on top of the canal. The homes across the canal are usually quiet and the scene is quite tranquil. The large open deck also has a small bar-like platform to place your beer. Simple!! The beers are cold and the people friendly. What else so you need?
