“The mikado owners are beyond friendly, after only a few visits they got to know me by name and I am now greeted with a warm welcome. Their sushi rolls, miso soup, and teriyaki salmon are incredible but, my favorite dish so far is the hibachi chicken. I will probably end up trying everything on the menu eventually and I already know I won’t be disappointed. I am thrilled they are under new ownership, because they take pride in their service and you can taste it. I am now a frequent eater at Mikado.”

“I have been a member of the Lynbrook Body & Brain Center for 6 months now, and have seen a vast improvement in my flexibility and stamina. Master Rose is wonderful, and is able to get me to push myself beyond where I would on my own. We exercise every conceivable part of the body. Even more importantly for me, she has brought me to a more positive mental attitude, teaching me how to fully relax and how to meditate. I'm also working on getting to my ideal weight. “I waited a very long time to come here because they are a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny. Booking an appointment was easy and quick and all the details were provided online. I even emailed Queenie with a question and she got back to me in less than 24 hours. The day of the appointment I had a little trouble finding the salon so I called the receptionist Mary and she was really nice and helped me find my way. When I arrived, the salon was clean and elegant and my hair was washed in a very fancy sink while the latest music was being played on the speakers. Everyone who I spoke with was really polite and helpful which allayed the fears associated with going to a salon the first time. Queenie had many clients that day but she didn't rush through anyone. She took her time and made sure each client got the same quality and care, regardless of how tired I saw she was. Definitely coming back and definitely recommending the salon to others. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because from beginning to end I was in the salon for about 6.5 hours. M y recommendation , just go when you have a day off cause you may be there a while, but trust me it'll be worth it !”
