US Coast Guard Station - Jones Beach

Im a member of the Auxiliary and as x Navy I truly enjoy working with the regulars. They are a great bunch and always remember that they are our first line of defense.
Any one not going on to university should consider joining up!

It's a beautiful place to take a walk or run, there are plenty of places to rest. Nice view of the water if you'd like to walk the dock instead.

As someone that's been going regularly for years my favorite part of the place is the floating dock barge, if you go onto it when the waves and wind are high it rocks exactly like a ship and puts my soul at ease (but you'll probably find it fun like a Disney ride or something).
