  All daycares are not the same and some vary greatly between care, price, and structure to name a few things. Because of this my husband and I did our homework to find the best daycare for each of our kids and continued to reassess them during each of the school year. In 2018 we decided it was time for a change for our 2 year old and once again began our search for the best daycare that would meet our expectations and budget.
  
  After multiple daycare visits throughout the town, and interviews, I found Mother’s Care Daycare in Valley Stream, on Prescott St. The first step for us is to checkout reviews, which we did, and noted many reviews for this daycare and most were very positive. Many reviews supports many views of parents with different expectations so, off-the-bat, seeing many reviews and positive feedback was great. During the in-person interview with Leslie, a senior staff member, I noticed that the place was well kept, clean and organized. Kids that were there appeared happy and engaged. Activities completed by the kids were pasted or hung up all over the walls. As usual, I had numerous questions ranging from meals served, discipline, curriculum for next level preparedness, sensitivity, and staff. The right number of staff with proper qualifications is very very important to us. We look to pick up on how engaged, caring, and patient staffers are with the kids. To my satisfaction, I was happy to see that Mother’s Care Daycare, satisfactorily portrayed these to my desire. After a pleasant discussion over the phone with Annmarie, the daycare owner, we decided to go with them!
  
  We have two older daughters and remember them crying a lot during the first weeks at the daycare we had enrolled them in. We expected the same from our 2 year old but to our surprise it was the complete opposite. Since day one she was happy to be there, and I kid you not, she did not cry after I left her on day one. Maybe she trusted that I really was coming back or was it that the staff and kids made her feel very welcome? I don’t know but it was all good to us.
  
  Fast forward 2 years later, I am still very satisfied with this Daycare and my soon to be four year old daughter continues to enjoy it and looks forward to daycare way more than swim class. AnnMarie, the owner of the daycare is super engaged, maintains a caring and lovely staff, communicates with me and other parents frequently, and is always available to take my calls or respond to my messages.
  
  If you’re looking for a good quality daycare I would add Mother’s Care to your list and give them a visit. I highly recommend them and can confidently say that your child will be in great hands.

  We are so grateful for Annmarie and her staff. They always surprise us with new activities and take home art collections. We have a sense of security dropping off our son and can carry on with work to keep supporting our family . He doesn’t cry when we leave him which is a plus. Definitely recommend this Mothers Care daycare !

  I just recommended them to a neighbor and my son is now 27. She went and loved the place. They were great then and they are great now.
