(October 30, 2022, 6:09 pm)I train in Philly and was in town for a wedding. Was able to sneak away for some training at Royal. The facilities are great, two showers and full changing room. Two mat spaces, both really nice. Took the no-go class, instruction was great and the rolls were technical and fun. Definitely check them out whether you’re dropping in or looking for a place to train!

The instructors are high-level competitors and great teachers, and the other students have been very welcoming. The 8:30pm classes are great for beginners, but you’ll find competitive rolls at every skill level. Couldn’t recommend this gym enough.

(February 10, 2022, 8:17 pm)Royal offers a very dynamic schedule. Morning, noon and night classes. Exactly what i needed because i work 9-5pm. Lots of mat space! I signed up after several friends recommended this place and i can see why. It feels like I’m back in school and the curriculum is very well structured. Coach Matheus and Paolo always walk around correcting students and giving feedback. Highly recommended!

(February 20, 2021, 10:53 am)Great atmosphere, perfect for someone looking to just start jiujitsu or for a more advanced person as well, a room full of very good quality people with world class jiujitsu. Respect and humility for everyone, I highly suggest coming and trying it out.
