“When a big tree fell on our house during Hurricane Isaias, a neighbor recommended Alf’s Roofing and we couldn’t be happier with the results. In addition to the exterior roof repair, we had structural damage to the roof beams, a window that had to be replaced and a bathroom that needed some repairs. Alf’s Roofing came the next day and took care of everything. They walked us through the insurance process as we had never submitted a claim before. “I’m honestly shocked to read the poor reviews. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. (Aside from one negative experience with a nurse I will post about at the end.) We didn’t wait at all. The doctor and anesthesiologist were kind and patient and treated us with dignity. The staff were sweet and kind as well. It is a very clean facility. We called to say we had traffic and would be a bit late and it was not an issue. We got called back within 10 minutes of arriving. Beware to leave time for parking, but that isn’t the office’s fault. The whole experience was fabulous from start to finish! Amanda, Charlene, and Wendy are professional and respectful and made the experience relaxing. **One caveat - Margo was a nurse assigned to us and her behavior was terrible. She was verbally aggressive and talked over us. She created a very anxious scene for us before going in for the procedure. She talked about off topic things and was very rude and accusatory. Be cautious if you get her assigned to your case. We’re waiting for a call back to discuss this with a manager. **”

“World Taekwondo Is a wonderful place to learn tkwd! When we moved to LI we tried several schools. We don't even live in Port Wash but it is absolutely worth the drive to come to World Taekwondo. It is such an encouraging and supportive academy with excellent instruction. Grandmaster Woo is highly accomplished and has spent a lifetime mastering tkwd and bringing tkwd to people of all ages and walks of life. Grandmaster Woo is kind, thoughtful, and an energetic teacher and leader. He sets the tone and standards for the school. Master Ryan, Instructor Vito, and all the instructors make it fun and teach with kindness and patience. World Taekwondo is very clean, well equipped, and there is a large viewing window where you can watch your student. World Taekwondo is active in the community outside of the school also - taking part annually in the Port Parade and inviting the whole family to their annual picnics at Manorhaven Park and holiday parties at the local schools. World Taekwondo is a real family and community oriented academy. My son started here when he was 6 years old. He is now a black belt but I am even more happy about all the life skills he has learned from World Taekwondo like commitment, discipline, perseverance, and respect for himself and others. He is a confident and respectful teenager. I highly recommend World Taekwondo for the whole family. Encouraging, supportive, friendly and fun!”
