  as a person from who is first really scared of being in the water, to successfully dive in an indoor pool, to boldly explore the underwater world in open water with my instructor Danny. I could not accomplish any of those without Danny's professionalism and extraordinary ways of teaching. He is very patient and kind. when you do not understand something just ask him, he would try his very best to explain and help you. He walks me through the gear selection, diving plans, hand in hand practical training, driving me to the diving site. I learned not only some textbook knowledge from E-learning but also some practical skills, the knowledge that based on years experience of instructor Danny. He is my friend, dive buddy, and instructor. I am enjoying every second of the whole diving course, I did not realize that I am taking a course until I passed and had to end the dive with Danny.

  I took the PADI open water certification with Danny at Good Life Divers. There are many reasons why I chose Good Life Divers instead of other diving schools in the Queens/Long Island area. One of the main reasons is because of personalized instruction that Danny uses for his students. I felt like I had a personal instructor throughout the course. I did not feel like I was going through a PADI Open water certification factory. Danny is also very personable and patient individual and instructor. I highly recommend Good Life Divers to anyone that can't make up their mind on which dive school to choose from in the region. I will definitely be returning for more advanced instruction in the future!

  I have taken several scuba class with Danny Rivera from Good Life Divers and they all have been great. The class were Nitrox, Full face mask and DPV. Danny teaches a comprehensive class with a light hearted manor that makes the class fun. He make sure the skills that are needed for the class are learned. Explains things in way that you can understand and gives you the time that is needed for you to accomplish the skills. Over all Good Life Divers is the way to go for scuba instruction. Thanks Danny and Good Life Divers

  Took my open water diver certification with Danny. He's a great instructor, with the patience needed for those just learning. Looking back it would have been a mistake if i had gone to someone else to learn the basic skills. Eager for the next dive level with Good Life Divers
