First time there today for a knee surgery. From the very beginning at check in until being walked out was exceptional! The staff is friendly, informative and engaging! The pre op and post op RN crew were simply amazing! A big thanks to you all!

Had meniscus surgery here with Dr. Gus Katsigiorgis. Came in early morning. Greeted at the door. Scanned temperature. Checked in. Waited a few minutes and was promptly brought down to the surgical center. Was greeted by several people who settled me in, and the anesthesiologist who talked me through everything.

They set me up, started rolling me to the surgery area and I woke up later with everyone smiling and being friendly. They called my wife to confirm she was waiting for me gave me instructions and explained them to me and sent me on my way.

Overall impression was that is a a newly built center, people were very professional and friendly, it was very clean, and just an overall positive experience.

I had breast augmentation surgery at The SurgiCenter in Sysosset.
I had a very positive experience here.
Contacting them with questions about lab work, transportation and other matters was a breeze.
A staff member named "Nick," short for Nicolette was always available for my calls. Nick was informative and never seemed "bothered" by my numerous concerns and questions.
That was a big, positive start to my relationship with this medical facility.
Then when the surgery date arrived there was nurses and staff members that matched and mirrored the professionalism that Nick provided.
A nurse name Rimma, Jeanine and the front desk personnel were great. A male nurse named Harvey who wheeled me into the surgery room was very warm, cordial and professional. May I say handsome too!
Dr. Perry, his anesthesiologists and staff were on point and clear with me about the process.
I had a personal set back where my Android phone lost power and I could not contact my escort. I was embarrassed about that. The staff made the calls to her for updates to my escorts arrival.
My ride arrived close to 5pm.
I can tell some folks were concerned about this, but overall I did not feel rushed or made to feel negative in any way.
The facility was clean and everyone was helping each other. Great team. I commend management at the Surgicenter. These environments are fostered from the top down. Everyone was friendly and caring.
I was treated well as a transgender woman of color.
I do need to get my name legally changed though!
This facility is highly recommended.
