“My son will be finishing his 2nd year at Rolling River. It is the best place for a child to spend the summer. He is always happy to get on the bus in the morning. There are never any fights about going. His bus driver is amazing and plays "cool" music. My son was never interested in music until he started going to RR. Now he says all year long "Mommy that's my camp/bus song" and he is smiling from ear to ear. He has made great friends that we keep in touch with during the year. My sons swimming has improved so much that I now call him "The fish". All the activities at RR are fun and have taught him team work, hand-eye coordination and imagination. The counselors are amazing and are truly happy to see him both in and out of camp. I couldn't ask for a better place to send my son. We love you Rolling River!”

“Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga with Salty Soul Yoga is amazing!! I've gone every Friday morning since June and it is easily the highlight of my summer. I feel stronger, more balanced - both physically and mentally - and proud. Deanna takes beautiful pictures each time so you get to see your progress. Deanna is also lovely company - super easy to talk to and comfortable to be around. You really just can't beat time on the water. I read about it recently - called "Blue Mind" ("the surprising science that shows how being near, in, on, or under water can make you happier, healthier, more connected, and better at what you do"). And then combine that with 🧘♀️ 🙏 🧘♂️. I definitely recommend trying out SUP yoga and developing a regular practice if life allows. Thank you Salty Soul!”

“Unlike the anonymous person who posted the bad review, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this school. My daughter has been attending since she was 3 years old (preschool) and is about to start 1st grade. From the first moment we met the principal I knew this was the school. At that point my daughter was verbal, but very few words, and not really communicating at all, mostly echolalia. She also had alot of sensory issues. She didn't like holding hands very much, but she immediately took Amy's hand as we walked down the hall on that first visit. We met with Amy for almost an hour, she answered all of our questions. I felt relieved! This was the school. It felt right. Amy let us come back a few weeks later to see the school again and answered more of my questions. Within the first few months, my daughters speech and language grew tremendously. It was miraculous really. By spring she could answer simple questions and we were finally able to potty train! (She was 4). This was big because until that point, I feared she would never be able to answer me. Amy has ALWAYS made herself available to me to answer any questions, concerns or issues I may have. She cares about each student, and even seems to know every student by name, their strengths and their struggles. Her staff is excellent. Each year I have developed a great relationship/partnership with the teachers and we communicate almost daily. When it is time for my daughter to transition or leave this school, I will cry hard tears, because she has blossomed so much here, and I am forever thankful for Amy and her amazing team!”

“We love this school! The teachers are experienced, enthusiastic, caring and they know their pedagogy! Dawn, the director of the school, cares deeply about each and every one of her students and their families and goes above and beyond to build an effective and relevant curriculum for preschoolers! My son has been going here for two years and has also attended their summer camp and he has blossomed so much as a result of being enrolled here, with these teachers and staff! Before attending Growing Tree he had never experienced any sort of separation and the teachers here made him feel so comfortable and loved that he is excited and happy to attend school each day! His language skills have improved leaps and bounds and he has really come out of his shell socially and emotionally! We are so proud of what he's been able to accomplish at Growing Tree and it is a true testament to the teachers and staff there that he's been able to make such progress! We cannot wait for him to be able to go back next year once this pandemic is over! Growing Tree is a hidden gem and the parents who send their kids there know it! It is a fantastic nursery school!”
