Afghan Kebab House

I loved this place! It was our first time having Afghani cuisine and it was so delicious.

We started with the Aushak Ghoushti which was good, but the real gem was the Naringe Palau. The lamb was so tender and the pistachio/orange flavor was so vibrant and delicious.

I also love love loved the rose pudding. I will be thinking about it for a long time.

I would strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes great food and a cozy ambiance.

Absolutely love the atmosphere in here! The food is amazing! Made to order! We waited quite some time but it was well worth it! Food was seasoned with love!

What a gem in NYC. Small restaurant at corner of E 71st and 2nd Avenue, it's been here for over 40 years.

The food we ate - tandoori chicken and lamb chops were incredible. Also try the chocolate cake for desert.

They don't serve alcohol but owner allows one to get their own bottles for no cockerage and there is a wine shop next door.

Good service and a must for ones culinary diary when in NYC.

One of the best and most delicious restaurants I’ve ever tasted! We came here to have a Father’s Day dinner with our whole family to eat authentic Afghani food. My dad was super happy that he ate at his favorite restaurant. I highly recommend visiting here and taste this cuisine. Important tip, be patient after you order because they cook their food with love and care. It’s worth your waiting time to eat and everyone will love it!
