  If you are looking for a barber that you can come to on a regular basis, then this place is great for you. I have been coming here for around a year now and the haircuts have been consistently good. My barber's name is Bek and he has always done a fantastic job. He cuts my hair the exact right way and is a great person to talk to. He now knows what haircut I want each time which makes the whole process simple and quick. If you are looking for a trustworthy and competent barber, come to this place.

  The best spot on the UWS for an expensive looking cut that is very affordable. All barbers are great, but I particularly like Junior. He is very knowledgeable about hair care and is extremely thorough. I recommend making an appointment.

  Excellence barbershop is easily the best in the Upper West! Every one of their barbers is fantastic - talented, polite, and hard working. The prices are very good as well, especially for the quality of service you get. One of the few shops I can go to and feel totally comfortable with any barber I get. Highly recommend!

  My go-to neighborhood barber shop. Excellent service with reasonable prices, professional staff, and responsive to customer feedback. Junior and Frank are always amazing. I moved away recently but I still take the subway here because it’s always worth the trip.

  First time here after bouncing around barbers for a year.... I'm being completely honest with you, if you can't find the right barber for you, come here..this was the best haircut I've gotten and i could not be more impressed. Freddy is a cool friendly guy and I am so stoked to have found my new barber. 10/10 best taper fade in NYC hands down.
