We hired Mattera Design, Inc. to update our NYC apartment to a smart home and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Joe Mattera and his team worked diligently and quickly to install speakers in every room of the apartment, change the thermometers, install a TV, and coordinate lighting so that everything functions on the same system.

Joe and his company did an amazing job and went above and beyond to accomplish exactly what we were looking for. Joe responds to emails right away and works quickly to resolve any issues. His team is very responsive as well. They installed high-quality products and everything looks beautiful. We highly recommend Mattera Design and would hire them again for future needs.

We hired Mattera AV Design to design and install a high end audio and smart lighting system for a bar/lounge I manage in midtown NYC. We have a unique space with specific issues that needed to be addressed to make things right in our opinion. Joe was very attentive to our situation and came up with multiple solutions based on our issues and budget. I reached out to Mattera Design through a friend's recommendation. I moved into a house and wanted something different and special RE A/V. Needless to say, Mattera Design delivered, and then some ! Joe, the owner of Mattera Design, brought a decade's worth of experience and professionalism into my home and did a fantastic job setting up the audio visual. With me knowing less than nothing about the subject matter, Joe was always readily available for any questions and/or concerns I had. He was easily accessible and his turn around time was extremely impressive and efficient. And he never haggled me RE prices and quotes. It was all very straight forward and aimed at what I wanted. And me being rather "careful" with my money since I just moved into a new home, Joe was able to work well within my budget and create an amazing atmosphere in my house. I say amazing not only because of how incredible the A/V looks and sounds, but, also because of its feel. No visible wires and the setup has a very sleek sexy look to it. In fact, since I host dinner parties, there have been many instances where guests complimented the look of the setup as well as its sound and style and always wanted to know who I hired for such a great job. And even after the job was complete, Joe was still available for any follow-up questions/suggestions. Plus he is very trustworthy as I got to know him during the installation. He comes from a great family and you can definitely trust him. Case in point, during the installation, I had to leave for an emergency work issue and I felt very safe leaving Joe in my home alone. I am very satisfied with Mattera Design and I will never reach out to any of these "big box" shops. Instead, I will commission Mattera Design for all my installations and I suggest you do the same. In fact, I am setting up my work office conference rooms with A/V, and will again hire Mattera Design ! Thanks, Joe, for your incredible service !!!
