  Jimmy is everything written in prior reviews: professional, knowledgeable, patient, customer oriented, etc. etc. While I was prepared to buy another machine because I thought mine might not be worth the cost of fixing, Jimmy fixed it while I was there — at a very reasonable cost. It sounds and works better than it ever has. As others have written, he then gave me some user tips and lessons, which if I follow, I’m confident I won’t need to return for another repair.   Jimmy is a sewing machine master, he’s been working in this industry for 50 years and knows so much about machines. He’s very sweet, looking for people who do right by one another. He’ll help you and teach you how to fix your machine or even video call you to help you at home!! I was gifted some free fabrics and muslin during my first visit, truly a kind person! He’s part of a magic in New York you only hear about. He has knowledge, history, and experiences you only see in a place like this!

  Jimmy had so much patience in fixing my machine that had been not working for years! He really enjoys figuring out what the problem really is, you can tell he hates giving up! I was ready to buy a new machine but he assured me he would figure out the problem and he did! Very fair pricing as well, will not charge you bogus fees. Overall I had a positive and productive visit, Jimmy is a very nice and talented guy. It is rare to find someone that actually has their client’s best interest. He fixed my computerized singer (most places turn you away if you have a computerized home machine) and I am so grateful! If you are having issues with your machine, I would highly recommend you see Jimmy first before anyone else!

  Jimmy is incredible! I took my 15-year-old Husqvarna Viking Huskystar sewing machine to him and he had fixed it by the very next day. It kept getting jammed and I didn't know why. When I came to pick it up he explained to me the structural problem that he had fixed showed me tricks to keep it from jamming in the future. He also showed me how to use some special stitches my machine is able to do, that I had never used before. The machine runs smoother than ever now and I will absolutely go back to him if anything happens in the future. Jimmy is so so so kind, warm, knows everything about every sewing machine ever made...and he is super reasonably priced. So happy to have met him, thanks Jimmy!

  Ive never been so happy - my Janome Skyline broke down out of nowhere & I already was scared at how much it would cost to fix plus time. I found Jimmy on google with outstanding reviews so quickly contacted him for support. My machine was fixed quickly & efficiently at a price that in nyc you find others up charging just to look at the machine. Jimmys customer service is outstanding & such a man of his trade!! Have found my go to service repair.
