The historical park here is perfect. There is actually two entrance almost a mile apart. The boat lunch is closed but they charge 6 dollars. The campsite is charged at 7 dollars and quite pretty too. There is so much nature around; we even saw a squirrel with a red tail and a blue birds. Def. A MUST VISIT.
Nice place to bring your family with your campers or just to enjoy alone. There is a lighthouse you can tour and get great views from the top but it is only open until 4pm. And also clean and nice bathrooms all around the park. It was extremely quiet there which seemed a little unusual but was very relaxing. There is also a beach down the road more and a marina. Would recommend for sunsets!
We love this park. It's a great place to hike; there are so many trails. Just no place to swim but there are beaches nearby.
We got this site due to a cancellation. Using the Campcellations app.
This is a beautiful NY state park with a really nice campground. Some sites have electric 30 amp and water and some are dry sites They also have yurts that can be rented. The seven mile Light house is on the property and was a great place to go visit. Sunsets from here are absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely gorgeous. Facilities well kept and maintained, wonderful playground, beautiful historic lighthouse, small and intimate campground. We will definitely be back. The yurts are a must!
