When I “chose” abortion at the age of 21 no one told me the facts. I was led like cattle to the slaughter, (after I shucked out $500) not looked in the eye by medical staff, and told my 8 week baby on the ultrasound screen (that was turned away from me) was only a blob of tissue. I wasn’t given other options, I went in for a pregnancy test to a clinic I thought cared for families, and was given a date and time for an abortion. I didn’t know that there was anyone that wanted to help me make another choice, I thought abortion was the choice I was supposed to take and I followed the medical advice by the clinic.

Carenet is a center that cares for the people that walk through their doors. They volunteer their time to be there! They literally could be at the movies or at their kids baseball game or doing anything else in the world but they serve the people, not the $$$ they see walk through the door. They love the women, the children, the men.....They help if you’re in a hard situation, they encourage you when you’re a weary mama, they look you in the eye when they talk to you, and are praying for you as you leave. They’re goal isn’t to deceive you, manipulate you or change your mind. Their goal is to love and serve you and help you understand all the details with each option of choices you have in regards to pregnancy.

No one told me a place like this existed when I was pregnant and scared and didn’t know who to talk to. No one told me that nearly 13 years after my abortion I would still wonder what the color of my baby’s eyes would be or what their laughter in my ears would sound like. No one told me that people at places like carenet volunteered their time and gave of their own reaources to help families in need. No one told me that they throw baby showers and collect pennies in baby bottles to raise money so that they can continue to love and serve women and families in their community free of charge. No one told me that there is a God who loves me and would care for me and my child. No one offered to pray for me when I cried or said I was scared.....

If you’re in need and truly want to know the truth of all your choices, carenet is a wonderful place to go to. They will not perform an abortion or refer you for one. Their goal is to love you and help free your conscience from guilt that will haunt you down the road. And they tell the truth. Abortion kills a baby not just a fetus. Abortion robs women of the gift of motherhood. Abortion leaves a gaping wound in the hearts and souls of those who choose it.

Carenet will come alongside of you if your willing to let them and they will listen to you, love you, serve you and hear you. They are for you, not against you.

This is a wonderful organization. They gave me some much needed support regarding the pregnancy of a family member. I was very concerned and did not know where to turn. They did not try to push anything on me. They simply talked to me, counseled me and after I met with the very caring director, I felt 100% better and everything worked out for our family. Whether you are Pro-Choice or Pro-Life....they are supportive and kind. I have been donating what I can to them, as I believe what they offer is exceptional....
