“My grandparents were very well cared for on the CARE/Dementia unit. The programming is wonderful, the staff genuinely cared for the residents. We had a concern here and there, but it was always addressed in a timely manner. Both cleaned their plates at meal time. Both passed away within the months of each other under Hospice care, my Gram on Jeannies unit. I can't say enough about the staff there either, excellent care and communication. These are difficult times in Healthcare.. rules are made for them by NYS and they did the best with what they were dealt. I also believe the family has responsibility too..visit (as allowed) , communicate concerns, don't look for perfection.. it doesn't exist. You don't get 1:1 care anywhere you go. I truly felt the Northgate staff genuinely tried their best, we didn't want to place them, but were very pleased with our choice.”

“The red headed pharmacist was on maternity leave from December to May apparently, I am so happy she is back, ask for her whenever you have a problem she always know what to do. And I love their text and automatic refills so convenient! I love that I can pay and sign for my husbands scripts before coming to the pharmacy using the text link it makes it so much faster in and out and I always know what’s ready and the cost - so nice!”

“I was admitted to Elderwood on October 11 for OT and PT after fracturing my right fibula and tibia and breaking my ankle. Two weeks later I am heading home to resume in patient therapy. ALL of the staff at Elderwood from custodians, nurse's aides, social workers, the business office, dieticians, nurses, doctor and OT and PT therapists were outstanding! Having to overcome an injury as I sustained is hard enough, but the absolute commitment, compassion, care and dedication of the staff, made me fight all the harder. Thank you to the staff of the North Wing. Your kindness and concern will always be remembered. To all of the OT and PT staff - thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself I could be, given the circumstances. The laughter, coffee and conversation made the therapy much more palatable :) I would definitely recommend Elderwood to anyone who requires after surgery, therapy!”

“You know it sounds to me as I read one negative 1 star review after another, they all seem to have the same theme running through them. It all sounds like a case of Paranoid Delusional Victimization. Which is of course a Hallmark of mental illness. So it's really difficult to try to separate the Delusions of Victimization from the Reality of what may or may not have happened. I mean some of the claims that are being made by people are so outrageous, that they're to the extent of impossibility. At any Clinic. That's what leads me to believe that this Delusion of Victimization is what's driving all of this stuff. But of course none of you will agree because you're all caught up directly in the middle of it. Strange 🕶”

“I went there for the first time yesterday and I was instantly impressed! I haven’t been to the dentist in about 7 years due to insurance issues so we finally got the right insurance and looked into places that took it. luckily we found this place and it’s only 8 minutes from our house! so nice! I walked in and the entire place felt like it was new. it was very clean and organized. the staff was so kind! even on the phone when making the appointment, she was very patient and did everything she could for me! she even got me in that day to get x-rays done for my jaw problems I mentioned and then a cleaning for April! when I met the dentist I was instantly impressed. he is a very kind and understanding person and extremely easy to talk to! he looked at my jaw and had me to a few “tests” and instantly went to call someone that specializes in TMJ and my issues and made an appointment for me with him! they made sure I got the best care I could and as soon as possible! they really feel like they treat each other as a family and their clients!! I overheard one of the nurses talking to a small child that seemed like it was their first time there/at a dentist and she was so so patient with them and was incredibly sweet and making sure they felt safe. just amazing all around. especially for only being there for about 30-40 minutes!”
