Algonquin Park

Have been going to this park for over 35 years and still enjoy it!!

This is the only REAL park in Newburgh if you ask me. I'm from the Bronx, this park has a slide and swings and a play area, bbq area, benches, etc. I wish there was more things for the kids but over all it's a great park.
Plus the trails up to the mini lake up top are neat for walking and getting in your exercise ????

So much fun to explore. My son had a great time looking in all the ruins of the old gun powder mill. The water running through was fun to watch too but be careful because there isn't much fencing. There is a small playground and a nice pavilion with grills and tables.

Great place with trails and different play activities for the children. Even some old ruins to explore. Seating areas to have lunch and bbq grills. Bathrooms and ample parking .
