It was a nice place to visit. All the staff is professional, pleasant and friendly. The nurses were very nice and helpful. Amazing care, wonderful services, beautiful environment!!! Thank you Villages of Orleans.

I have had relatives there for the past year and have had, for the most part, positive attitude toward the Villages. As with any place, you may find things about it that you feel aren't right and against your better wishes, but that will happen anywhere, as I have seen for myself from having a family member in and out of hospitals for several years. I learned from the start that you have to fight for what you feel is right for the patient, and I did that several times! The administration wants to know of any problems so they can work on a solution to them. The nursing staff, for the most part, are very nice people! I say "for the most part" because some of them come from Rochester or Buffalo areas through an agency and do not work there all the time. The regular staff gets the chance to know the residence and know their needs. The staff knows these residence have special needs and can remember them better than someone who comes once and a while. And as we all know, there are those who just work for a paycheck, not to do good work!
I would recommend The Villages of Orleans but remember to talk with the staff so they get to know you and your family member better! I think that is very important to do! After all, you have a family member in the care of people you don't know, so get to know them, too!
