Such a fun train ride for all the family!! The museum after was massive and so much to see! Definitely worth it
Very nice museum to go to. The massive train model I believe is the biggest at least in New York state. They have a scavenger hunt to find certain things on the models and within the room. Most of my pictures are of just the trains but along the sides of the room is tons of memorabilia from fireman items to old oil lamps. You could spend hours looking and find something new. When I was there we took the train for a ride. It goes over a gorgeous bridge over the Erie canal. All the staff were very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend going there for a visit. I didn't post the train that you ride on so you will have to find out for yourself 🙂
My husband and I took our 2½ year old to see Thomas the train 🚂 and we all had a great time. We have never been to the museum or a Thomas event and we enjoyed every aspect of it. Can't wait until winter when the Polar Express is supposed to come from what I'm told by a friend.
Was a great experience. Have never been in a train before but was a pleasant first time. The only thing I wish I would have known is we had to buy the food and drinks at the concession stand outside before boarding. I thought there would be food sold during the train ride. But other than that a great experience.
Great experience.lot of train memorabilia to see.train ride is really awesome.we rode in coach which I recommend trying to get car#1 or first class coaches A or B.the model train layout is amazing with so much detail for all to see.
