Great, free museum with changing exhibits and awesome local history and art.
First, it's FREE to visit and park (spots right next to the door). So definitely handicap accessible! No stairs! Bathrooms are found right inside the main entrance. Staff and curator were super friendly and helpful. Check on hours before visiting due to they change hours during different seasons. The exhibits were very well done. You probably won't spend all day here since it's not a giant museum within the college. It was definitely worth a visit though! The older kids enjoyed it a bit more than the little one due to the subjects of the exhibits. Though everyone enjoys looking at interesting items and pictures no matter the age!
I love this museum, I go there whenever I visit my girlfriend. There’s a very pretty “Victorian” area there that has pretty oil paintings (:
Nice find on Hartwick campus. Had 5-6 different displays, each section very different from the other. Curator very knowledgeable. Rotate displays. Curator suggested we go see the valley view from the top of building. I didn't take pics inside, but view is attached.
