After not being correctly diagnosed by urgent care and an x-Ray, I decided to see a hand specialist for an injury sustained in a fall. Dr. Maghen diagnosed my hand issue immediately, and the follow- up surgery, done within a few days of the initial visit, was painless (even after the anesthesia wore off). It will take a while to fully heal, but the scar is minimal and I’m glad the issue was resolved. Like other doctors at Somers Orthopedic, Dr. Maghen explains the diagnosis and makes his patients feel comfortable and reassured.

Dr Maghen is a very compassionate doctor. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. I have seen him for different issues through out the years and was beyond pleased. I highly recommend him.
