(March 24, 2018, 3:06 pm)Good retreat space. Lovely grounds. Sleeping quarters are very noisy due to old wood floors and nothing to absorb sound. Bring earplugs!
(February 15, 2018, 3:19 pm)The Garrison Institute is a wonderful place. We attended a 3 night Krishna Das retreat in mid February and had a great time. The facility is super clean and the food was delicious.
The rooms are small and there’s not great soundproofing in the walls… but it’s a monastery (for god’s sake ????). Communal showers and toilets were the other ugh…, but everything was new and nice and clean!
The actual retreat was wonderful as well. Professionally run and organized, we would definitely come back. Even the train ride to Garrison was fun.
