I took the tour of the house, it amounts to looking at antiques and learning how people lived during the time and how the house was moved. I enjoyed it, but the view of the river and walk to and from was my favorite part. They hold various events as well. Well worth the stop.

(July 24, 2018, 10:42 am)Highly recommend those interested in history and performance to come to Boscobel in Cold Spring New York. Had a delightful time with the performance of the heart of Robin Hood and walking the grounds. Despite the rain all enjoyed the performance. Even when it's not raining it is a worthwhile experience. Please come and enjoy.

(May 5, 2018, 5:29 pm)This is a beautiful area for walking and it has an interesting history. The tour is brief - no more than an hour. Our tour guide, Sam Lawson, was incredible! He had a deep knowledge of the house and such great enthusiasm for its history and architecture that really enhanced the tour. The pictures give an idea of what you can see. This is a worthwhile visit on a beautiful day and it’s just a quick drive away from Cold Spring. Visit the museum midday, then go into town for some novelty shopping and food
