Cornell Burial Ground

I wish I could find out how the community could help with this landmark.

I appreciate the citizens and NYC Parks efforts to preserve and protect this landmark space. It is closed off and not accessible. I took the advice of one of the first reviewers here and walked around where I really shouldn't be to get a closer but still far away look. I did see some information signage that hints you once could walk around and read and see. But. At least it is locked up and somewhat protected until NYC or who ever gets the budget and creative spark to open this historic site for visits and study.

Very interesting, but the graveyard is way in the back and you got to jump a small fence to get there. We had to pull around to gateway Blvd and pull in to the rear parking lot of Haven Manor Healthcare. Some pretty interesting history for us Cornell's.
The front part of the 'NYC owned park' is pretty uneventful.
