I started sending my younger daughter to this school two weeks ago. My daughter is very timid and sensitive, but what worried me the most is that she has never been apart from me. I wanted to wait until she was a bit older to send her to school, but I had to work and had no choice. The first day, she cried and had a hard time parting from me. But, her teacher greeted her warmly despite the language barrier and even figured out what activities my daughter likes. Soon, she started to like going to school and even learned new words day by day.
After two weeks, I feel at ease dropping her off at school knowing she is cared for by wonderful teachers. More than anything, I really appreciate the kind hearted teachers who helped my daughter make new friends and adjust to the new environment. Some things never change as the teachers helped my first child, who is in second grade now, in the same manner.
As a first time parent, I was so nervous to send my baby to school. From the first phone call to the first visit, all the staff members helped me to feel at ease. I have visited many schools and honestly, to a first time parent, they all loooked similar. The main difference of this school, and what ultimately helped me make a decision was all the teachers and staff members. They all greeted my baby and even invited her into their class. My little girl was a bit reluctant to go to the teachers at first, but their voice and demeanor just won her over. When we were ready to leave, she actually didn't want to come out of the classroom. All the furniture, toys and materials seemed new and clean. Transition was easy as it only took my baby about a week to stop crying at drop off. I would absolutely recommend this school to any parent, especially first time parents.
