The food was very good. Small restaurant and very busy. We had a variety of food, and everyone was satisfied. Iced HK tea was also definitely worth getting. Even though the buns were a little overpriced, we bought several buns to go and they were made well. Definitely a go to spot for a quick meal.
pretty great cha cha tang in the area of Bayside, has all the classics from the Hong Kong tea to the rice noodles and the chow mein along with different breakfast options that are easy to select from lettered a. through d, we arrived at 7:00 a.m. in the morning right before opening and they were getting really busy and a big crowd of customers were already coming through the door so it is definitely a hopping spot
I absolutely love this place. This is my go to place when I want some addictingly good, fast, and cheap Chinese food. I’ve been here at least 30 times in my life for breakfast, lunch, or dinner but this is my first time leaving a review.
I came here for breakfast the other day and ordered the combos (which I highly recommend!! All of them are amazing and cater to whether you like sandwiches or something soupy). We got the congee and fried noodle combo as well as the mei fun soup with ham and fried egg combo. The congee was full of pork flavor and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The mei fun soup reminded me of my childhood and the egg was a great complement to everything.
Bumped up one star since my previous review several months back.
I stopped by this evening to pick up fried rice take out and it was cooked to perfection. Huge slices of beef over fresh rice always put a smile on your face. People do not realize in Chinese cooking how important fresh rice is.
I have to believe they're starting to get back to pre-pandemic routine and the food reflect so.
Keep up the excellent work and who knows, next time may be a five star review.
