Luca Laundromat

I spent a lot of time at this laundromat..over 100 hours. Sitting here reading different books on my iPad. I cannot focus on one book for long. So I keep switching themes in my reading time. The major theme is mostly about cyberspace and tech companies. It always involves lots of numbers and statistics. So I turn to Harari’s stories of the past and the future. Then a few lines of otherworldly immaterial materials.
Miriam is sitting in the cafe next to Luca Laundromat. We talked about pinsapo motel and the next location with Oyku. She loved the birds. Papi was so excited and flying back and forth between us and the cage.
I spend around 2 hours at this room every time I wash my clothes. That’s a very intimate time frame for a space.

Its Saturday. I was picking up all the clothes around the attic to head the laundromat. As I was stuffing the blue ikea bag with a mountain of clothes, I remembered a ten dollar bill was in the orange shorts pocket. I took the shorts off the bag. The money was there. I’m so relieved now. It was too close to become a disastrous Saturday.
