(July 14, 2018, 4:24 pm)Happening place. Had a minor issue with the smart lock but the host was immediately responsive and solved it quickly. It seems that the inn was at capacity but we barely heard anything other than occasional hallway talk. Highly recommend.
(July 12, 2018, 10:13 am)Spent a short weekend here, right before the holiday. This place reminds me of what Rockaway used to be before it became “discovered” and developed. Totally fun and unpretentious. Our room did feel a little small but I suppose it is called a studio for a reason. The bathroom size more than made up for it. Hope we can make it back before the summer is over.
(July 10, 2018, 9:15 am)We had a wonderful stay over the holiday weekend! One of the biggest pluses to this place is the guest parking. We've been coming to Rockaway Beach for years and have sometimes spent HOURS trying to find parking. I can't say what a good feeling it was to be able to pull straight in to the hotel, among the sea of cars and foot traffic. It's amazing to not have to worry about finding a parking spot and no longer being immobilized for fear of losing that parking spot. The hotel itself was quaint and quirky, in a good way. We had a seamless check in process (all automated) and never had to communicate with the host, or anyone for that matter - just the way we like it. It appears that they are opening a restaurant downstairs but I'm not sure if it's affiliated with the hotel. It's just one more thing to be excited for. This was one of the most pleasant stays I've had since coming to the Rockaways. With all the changes happening on the peninsula, the High Tide is a much needed breath of fresh air. We can't wait to be back!
(July 2, 2018, 9:33 pm)The absolute coolest place to stay in the Rockaways. Right by the beach, and centrally located near great restaurants and bars. My room was awesome and designed by a local artist. Definitely staying here again.
(July 2, 2018, 12:08 pm)Awesome hotel! Stayed here last week with a friend. The room was really cool and clean. Just 1 block away from the beach too. Definitely plan on coming back soon.
