“Anthony Bourdain said to have a beer in an empty pub, and that's what I did here. Doubles as a homebrew store. What I loved about this place is that the styles are either old school - think English IPA or oatmeal stout - or straight up historical. Definitely a change of pace. I enjoyed all the beers I tried. Owner was super knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were good, and I'm glad they were open on a Monday, which isn't the case for even the bigger brewpubs in town. Old school, DIY place that I'm glad to have visited.”

“This was my first visit to this shop. The person behind the counter was very friendly. The cinnamon bun was excellent, especially the creamy cream cheese icing! I tried the peanut butter & chocolate cheesecake and found it to be very, very good! The peanut butter and double chocolate cookie was delicious after I warmed it up in the microwave for 15 seconds. It was so thick and rich, it was like eating a brownie. Lastly, I tried the chocolate chip cookie. I took one star off of my review because it was a bit dry and crumbly. Given how excellent the other products were, I feel like this was an anomaly and perhaps the cookie was not as fresh as the other items that I tried. After putting the cooking in the microwave for 15 seconds, the majority of the cookie was very good …. just the edges remained hard. I would definitely return!”

“Hospice services were fantastic although we are extremely disappointed with the party responsible for picking up the hospital bed. We understand there was a snow storm but our family member passed away 3 days ago, well before the storm. This makes it difficult to receive friends, family and visitors to the home when the hospital bed is in the middle of the living room. It is also not a very pleasant reminder of our loved one who has passed away in said bed. When we made contact with hospice twice, no phone call was returned nor was progress made with this. Again, hospice was wonderful, this just happens to be our only "fly in the ointment".”

“I was passing through and stopped for the first time and was blown away. I’m not used to Army & Navy stores being so large, clean, and having such a wide selection of merchandise. I see several reviews mentioning staff negatively, but my experience was great. The employee behind the counter on the afternoon of 8/5 immediately asked if he could help me, joked around about baseball and football with me (the poor guy is a Mets and Jets fan, haha), and rang me out quickly. I can’t really ask for better.”

“Update: 2 years later and my kid still LOVES TKD. It gave her a step up before starting school and is perfect for our afterschool routine. They create a loving, supportive community. Mr. Harry is an incredible teacher. My daughter's confidence is through the roof for a 5 (almost 6) year old and she has excelled in school this year because she started at Pai's 2 years ago. My daughter loves her TKD classes. It has been the most organized and distanced place/activity all year. They have it together. Classes are well taught. Respect is key. Kids get lots of opportunities to earn belts and medal even in 4 y.o. groups.”

“Pat's Barn was an absolutely phenomenal place to have a wedding! Kim was so communicative every step of the way, and was even willing to do a week of tour to calm our last minute jitters. The venue is so unbelievably gorgeous that it needs absolutely minimal decoration - exactly what we were looking for. We were also able to do cocktail hour and our ceremony on their gorgeous lawn which was a huge hit with our guests. The two levels was also great for people looking for a quiet place to chat. There are also endless places for gorgeous photos all around the grounds! Would highly recommend for a wedding or any other event”

“I was actually on my way to TJ Maxx and noticed Sleep and Spas. I know of a couple other locations and heard nothing but great things, so I decided to go in and check them out. Harry instantly greeted my partner and I and we just were there to browse. My parents have anyways owned a Sundance Spa, and so growing up I always enjoyed that luxury of being able to soak in hot water. Harry explained all the differences in the hot tubs and was very professional and non-pushy. It was such a great experience that we ended up purchasing a spa and Harry gave us a super great deal (free!) on one of our guest room beds that was ancient. If you want great knowledge and quick service, sleep and spas is the way to go!”
