I have been going through boxes and albums of photos and do monthly drop-offs at a local Everpresent pickup store. I am so pleased I decided to do this because of the convenience and quality of the work. The communication by email and phone is outstanding and I always feel that my precious photos are in good hands. EverPresent was able to convert many old and some damaged video tapes to a digital format. The tapes had been in a box in the basement for years and even they were unsure if all the tapes would be viable. They worked very hard to convert as much of the material as they could. Last year I found an old audio cassette tape with recordings from my Peace Corps service in 1998. I was worried that the tape would deteriorate and I would lose those memories captured in the voices of my neighbors’ children, singing and laughing and telling stories in my kitchen.
