This restaurant heavily reminds of hole-in-the-wall experiences in and around Manhattan, from the brownstone core to the dark and moody ambiance.

This is different: there's not a ton of seating and the service is hybrid self-serve. You place your order at the register, and they bring out the food and drinks to your table. They have a refillable water station and self-take utensils at each table. Serving bowls are single use unless you pay for the stone bowls (+3$)

The food is tasty enough and feels authentic. The efficient business structure makes for a very relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful, moody setting at casual dining prices.

Also be aware that the more prominent location looks like a shack (the original location), but the actual restaurant is just slightly down the street and is quite appealing, even from the outside.

Notably, they have a large selection of hot teas. The date flavored jelly tea is a must try!

Very flavorful and fresh ingredients. Best ambience to a perfect meal ! Authentic Korean experience with store in restaurant type; have Korean snacks and merchandise for sale. A feast for the pallette and your eyes :) Attendants are very accommodating and answers your questions attentively !

Chicken rice bowl was delicious, japchae was also fantastic. But the real highlight for me was that cucumber kimchi! Definitely check this place out

Disclaimer: I have never been to their brick and mortar location but have visited their Troy Market stall multiple times.

I love their food. It’s quite delicious and made with love and care. I know I will get to their place one day soon.

So thrilled to finally be able to eat here! With plenty of delicious vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free options everyone can join. The staff is super friendly and accommodating while the ambiance of the restaurant can't be beat. Everything we ordered was so good there was only time for an "After" photo. I'm already making plans to come back and try something else on their menu.
