  One of the best locations for Sri Lankan groceries and food. The owners are friendly and helpful. Everything I have ordered from here tasted so good! I highly recommend. The seafood Nasi Goreng is delicious!

  They have a somewhat a moderate collection of commonly used/ required uncooked/raw foods used for Sri Lankan kitchens. Mostly the prices are the same as seen with competitors in Victory Blvd.
  They do provided cooked food for orders. Haven’t seen tables lately to have the food!
  Parking is an issue indeed.
  Room for improvement.

  Food is good but have faced other issues at the store that I am not going to fully disclose. The owner is generally a good guy.

  Being from Chennai, I've always loved kothu parotta. I've known it is famous in Sri Lanka, but never had the chance to taste it as part of Sri Lankan cuisine until now. The Cheese Kothu was great. The owner of the store was a nice person who loves sharing his story and was very kind enough to make sure we like what we're eating and suggested different sides. They also had many srilankan groceries that were worth learning and browsing.
  The journey to Staten Island was long and Staten Island looks very deserted and weird but the food was worth it.

  At an address not known for its long-lasting restaurants, a four month old newcomer tries to buck the trend. The first word on their kitchen is positive, with an obvious care taken in their dishes. Try this beautiful lamprais, a dish of meat curry over rice baked in a banana leaf wrap. Also of some note is the yogurt drink flavored with wood apple, a fruit in the citrus family found in South and Southeast Asia. We will be cheering for Sagara to do better than its predecessors and become a neighborhood mainstay within Staten Island's Sri Lankan community.
