  My review of my 2017 Vulcan vaquero and experience at Ivan's.
  
  My new vaquero was a sluggish mess of a bike whose engine seemed to be missing half it's power. Was constantly having to downshift and wring the engine out to get any degree of passing power. Otherwise bike was constantly lugging. Was also hot as heck and after putting on Freedom Performance pipes, would cough, pop and literally explode with any deceleration.
  Was told by my dealer to get an Ivan ECU flash to solve all the problems.
  Took out my ECU and made the 90min trip to Ivan's shop.
  My experience couldn't have been better.
  Gina, the young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't be nicer and we had a chat about the benefits about the flash and what I could expect.
  She took my ECU to Ivan in the backroom which he flashed within 10 minutes.
  Ivan seemed busy but was very helpful in advising me on the ECU installation and seemed extremely knowledgeable and to the point.
  After installing the ECU, the bike seemed to gain back all the missing power that was expected of a 1700 engine.
  The throttle response was extremely linear and responsive with no hint of hesitation.
  The popping and exploding totally vanished and the heat was noticably tamped down. It's now actually very difficult to lug the bike even at top gear at slow speeds.
  This is with the stock air breather with a K&N filter.
  It literally feels like a new engine was dropped into the bike.
  The change is that extreme.
  Conclusion: this ECU flash is well worth the cost and is transformational. Get it done ASAP.
  Gina and Ivan are also excellent to deal with.
  It appears the shop is being relocated to Greenville SC by Nov 5th.
  A bummer for us within a reasonable driving distance from him.
  
  Visited the shop yesterday and had a nice long conversation with Ivan and Gina.
  They are 2 great people.
  Will miss visiting the shop. Although Ivan is going to SC, Gina is not.
  Anyone looking for a smart, and delightful person to hire couldn't do better than Gina.

  Ivan is great. Had the pleasure to spend time with him as he worked on my bike.

  ICU flash, GREAT! Customer Service, could improve.
  
  He knows what he's talking about and I highly recommend flashing your motorcycle if he offers the service for your particular model. Conversed over the phone and Ivan does come across a little "New York" but i figured that was him. No biggie. Just short delivery. I'm sure he's dealt with his fair share of knuckleheads and doesn't have time for those who may not be interested, weeding out the meek! Stay strong, talk with him, and reap the rewards!

  Had my 2011 Kawasaki Vaquero ECU remapped. Holy cow!! absolutely a different bike. Throttle response is immediate and overall power fells great. Thanks to Ivan Rockland county motorcycle. Had read some past customer testimonials but until I had it done wasn't sure that the changes would be so obvious.

  The staff was great she is friendly and delight full. Ivan was also very nice took care of me right away. I drove to the shop after talking with his secretary . He even took my ecu out and put it back in my bike after he flashed the ECU. He did this while l was up front taking care of paperwork that needed to be filled out. Excellent service. Boy could l tell the difference coming home. I live in Springfield,Ma. Man it was like night and day when I cracked that throttle. Thanks a million Ivan. Another Happy customer Roy Roldan my Kawasaki Voyager is a different bike now.
