Pier 701 Restaurant & Bar

Went there with friends to grab drinks and appetizers. The view of the river was amazing and they weren't overly busy. The drinks and appetizers were very good and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this place for great food and an even better atmosphere!

Great atmosphere, great food - dessert was amazing! Eat on the deck or right next to the water. Small menu but great choices. The only negative was that bread service was optional at $4 a pop...what? Pay for bread? I've NEVER heard of that, and I've eaten at some pretty memorable and fantastic places.

I had a very good lunch here today with amazing views and very friendly service. The grilled octopus with citrus berre blanc was super-fresh and delicious. Hoisin ribs were tasty but I wish the meat were a little less tough but it was still a yummy bite. The cheeseburger was good (pretty standard, which is not a bad thing) but next time I’m here (there will be a next time!) and if in the mood for a sandwich, I’d probably try something different.
