(April 4, 2018, 3:20 pm)Amazing find! NYC quality food in a picturesque location. Tucked away off Hungry Hollow road is a cafe gem! Chef and management with new york city style sensibilities. Food is excellent and healthy! They cater and understand dietary restrictions and allergies. Vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten free and for the carnivores, local, organic meat is served with triple fried potato chips that are excellent! The tuna nicoise and the vegetarian bowel are my current favorites. The cafe has wrap around glass windows looking out into beautiful forest with a slow moving stream nearby. Plenty to occupy your eyes if eating here solo. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable about food and beverages with an eccentric flare. Music a good range of genres enhancing the naturally good vibes within the cafe. Patrons to the cafe are a diverse bunch ranging from moms or dads with their little ones to people dropping by for their work lunchtime meal and fresh juice or espresso. There is a small corner of the cafe full of children's books and toys that wish to play and preoccupy themselves. Great for moms or dads looking for catch up time with a friend or with some work. Free WiFi. They do brunch on the weekends which is awesome for being in the burbs looking for a NYC spot to brunch. Catering is offered for events as well as dinner meal pick ups. I did the order out dinners a few times which is helpful during a busy week. I called, ordered my dinner and had pick up later that same day. Super awesome addition to the community! They are now doing Friday night dinners 5-7p with live music 7-9pm which I have attending once so far but plan on going again. Tapas orders for late night snack noshing while listening to music.
