Nice spot. Water very high after heavy rains.
I love this place because the river just looks so inviting. Its telling you come in enjoy the cool waters on this hot mugy day.
This is a small local park. What makes it unique is the flat rock near the river which makes it easy to launch small river floatation devices like tubes and kayaks. I have lived near the river for a decade and advise anyone considering spending time in it to be mindful of the weather. The Ramapo River can be calm and peaceful one day and completely destructive the next.
This is a small county park on the bank of the Ramapo River. It has no services and is primarily an access point for fishermen and to launch or take-out a canoe or kayak. The park is easily accessible by a public road and provides ample parking.
