  The Sentinel of Rockland is great! They were wonderful with my mother who was very nervous moving to a new place. My mom is very happy.
  Also the place is beautiful and extremely clean! Definitely will recommend to everyone looking for assisted living place.

  Sentinel of Rockland is a great place to be for elder family members who need 24/7 care. The staff are accommodating and helpful with any concerns you might have. The place is a state of the art facility, brand new. There’s even a movie theater, salon, library, entertainment room, gym and more for residents to keep themselves busy in their new home. Their dining room is like as though you’re going out to a restaurant and being served. Doctors are in house, so they don’t have to be stepping out of the building. If they do, they provide transportation to other scheduled appointments you may have. They have activities everyday throughout the day to keep you occupied. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a “Home away from Home” community.

  The place is literally brand new, beautiful, couldn’t be nicer, so many nice areas, features and services, way too many to mention. Therefore it needs to be seen to be appreciated -- for how pristine, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable it is- the virtual tour and me telling you cant begin to do it justice.
  
  The rooms are private, SO nice, lots of light, well appointed, “user friendly” , and of course sparkling clean and new. There is nothing dark, dreary, old, outdated, worn out, in need of repair, standard run of the mill cookie cutter or in any way gloomy.
  
  It’s small enough where everyone knows everyone, staff and residents alike, which is everything to me. I feel assured my loved one would be known, taken care of and looked out for. I found the staff and management to be on top of their game yet friendly, and eager to listen to me and to be helpful. I didn’t feel like I was rushed or just another number coming through.
  
  Sounds too good to be true (it kinda is -that's why I'm taking the time on a Sunday afternoon to write this) and unaffordable but it’s not!! That bears repeating in case you skipped over it - it is affordable!
  
  I am in no way affiliated with the Sentinel and am a real person looking for assisted living for my loved one – I just feel drawn to pass along information that others in my situation really need to know about and could so benefit from . I also like to acknowledge when someone or something deserves credit for their efforts or are special or outstanding, as is certainly the case here.

  The Sentinel of Rockland is so lovely. My mom and I went to tour as a potential facility for my father and we were stunned by what we saw. Gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, energized and engaging residents. We could not believe that it was affordable as well. It's brand new, and I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a home for your loved one.

  We visited the Sentinel for the first time to introduce a friend to Assisted Living. Debbie Corwin could not have been more gracious, kind and so helpful. She warmly connected with my friend and was completely transparent in terms of what the facility was able to accomplish during the Pandemic and what the plans are moving forward. The few residents we met were happy and very complimentary. The resident's rooms are furnished which is a bonus. There are many places to gather together--whether in the dining area, movie theater, game room, art room and more. There is transportation for the residents and so much more.
