I didn't exactly go to the facility but I saw a dog on the streets of the Bronx which you never usually see. It had clearly bean abused and was afraid of anyone who came near it. I called 311 they wouldn't come. I also called animal shelters in the area and none of them answered I just got automatic machines. So I started calling shelters further away and rockland was the only one who answered and they were very kind. The lady on the phone was very sympathetic and kind & even though they were far they got to my location as fast as they could and saved the dog. I'm currently awaiting a call back so I can adopt the dog they helped me save.
